i went to walmart today and bought a sniper scope, hoping that it would fit my L96. it came with lens cps and rings and everything. i get home and it doesnt fit. if someone could help me or put me in the right direction. that would b great.

This is the HUNTING group… we stopped playing with toys quite a while ago.
Just measure the width of the Picatinny rail on the rifle. Are you sure the scope has Picatinny or Weaver rings?

You should know that (almost)every REAL firearm these days (what i assume the scope you bought was made for) uses an 11mm dovetail rail, and having dabbled in airsoft and firearms, I think your looking for weaver rings. You can cheap out with 5 dollar rings, as airsoft guns don’t have recoil.
